De Nederlandse muze in Latijns gewaad. De bestudering van de Neolatijnse poëzie uit de Noordelijke Nederlanden

Abstract - Neo-Latin poetry is an essential element of Netherlandish literary and cultural history from the fifteenth to the seventeenth century. Although research in this field is still limited, it has been considerably extended during the last decades. In this contribution a survey is given of contemporary editorial practices. European and specifically Dutch anthologies, as well as editions of the poetry of Erasmus, Secundus and Grotius, of dramas and school songs, and of several minor poets are discussed. Furthermore, some secondary literature is reviewed and a bibliography of editions and other publications discussed is provided.
