Abstract - This third and last article of a series on the Vroegmiddelnederlands Woordenboek (see TNTL 112, p. 149-164 and p. 238-248) - gives an insight into the structure and possible content of an entry in the dictionary. This is illustrated with several examples. The article also elaborates on some more characteristics that make the dictionary so unique, i.e. the reliable and very detailed linguistic information it provides and the fact that there is an unusual emphasis on encyclopaedic information.
