Een dichterlijk pamflet naar aanleiding van de komeet van 1664

Abstract - A broadside on the occasion of the apparition of a bright comet in December 1664 presents a poem written by I. S. V. C. This article argues that the poem was written by the Amsterdam poet Joannes Six van Chandelier and presents an annotated edition. The introduction deals with comets, viz. those seen in Europe in the seventeenth century, with the poet Six van Chandelier and with the historical situation the poem refers to, i.e. the recently ended plague. Finally some commentary on the poem as well as on the accompanying prose-text is given.
