Naar aanleiding van E. Hofman: Nieuw licht op het Wilhelmus en zijn dichters en C. Free: Willem van Oranje, 's-Hertogenbosch en de dichter van het Wilhelmus

Abstract -- In this article two publications are reviewed which presume to shed new light on the authorship of the Dutch national anthem, the Wilhelmus. One offers the thesis that two poets were involved in the composition of the present-day version of the poem, the other presents a new candidate on the basis of an authorial profile. Whether there is any new light in this is doubtful.
