De status van de Lancelotcompilatie: handschrift, fragmenten en personen

Abstract -- There is codicological evidence that the Lancelot Compilation was a ‘working copy' (partly) used as a model for a manuscript of which Brussels, RL, II 115, 3 and The Hague, RL, 75 H 58 are the remains. There is also circumstan- tial evidence that Lodewijk van Velthem was not only the owner of the Lancelot Compilation, but the compiler of the manuscript as well. This means that (as the compiler is likely to be the same as scribe B) most of the manuscript is written in Velthem's own hand.
