Betje Wolff en Jeanne Leprince de Beaumont: plagiaat of citaat zonder bronvermelding?
Abstract -- A comparison is made between two ‘feminist' declarations written around 1760, one by a prolific French woman writer whose work was read throughout Europe, Jeanne Leprince de Beaumont (1711-1780), the other by one of the major Dutch female novelists, Elizabeth Wolff-Bekker (1738-1804). This comparison allows for the hypothesis that the latter was at least inspired by the former, although no traces of contact or influence have been found up to now.
