August den Hollander
Leidse fragmenten van een Middelnederlands Leven van Jezus
Abstract -- The Leiden University Library possesses five fragments of a Middle Dutch Gospel Harmony manuscript. The fragments probably date from the first half of the fourteenth century. Since the thirteenth century Gospel Harmonies in the vernacular, offering the text of the Life of Jesus, gained popularity. The text of the Leiden fragments offers a redaction that is closely related to the well-known Middle Dutch Stuttgart Gospel Harmony.
