De bundel Amoreuse Liedekens en zijn relatie met het Antwerps Liedboek van 1544

Summary -- This article discusses the relation between an early seventeenth century songbook Amoreuse Liedekens and the famous 1544 collection known as Het Antwerps Liedboek. It is argued that Amoreuse Liedekens has been composed, not using the extant edition of Het Antwerps Liedboek, but a slightly different earlier edition. Whether this version was the postulated first AL-edition of about 1534 cannot be decided upon the available evidence.
