 Fragment van een nieuw handschrift van Maerlants Istory van Troyen

Abstract - Judging from the number of Mss of which fragments are extant, Maerlant's Istory van Troyen must have enjoyed great popularity. It circulated in Mss of two types, one with three and one with two text columns per page. A new fragment of 99 lines is here edited from the Brussels Town Archives (liasse 698). It is the only known remnant of a new two-column type of Ms. of Maerlant's poem.
