Een terminologische zoektocht langs behuusde en onbehuusde hofsteden

Abstract -- A search for other examples of the previously reported Middle Dutch phrase ghehuust ende ghehooft led to the discovery of the comparable phrase behuust ende behooft. Analysis of related terminology permitted to clarify the meaning of the compound hofstede. Further investigation revealed the existence of the phrase ghehuust ende gheheerft and of some compounds equivalent to hofstede.
