Bart Minnen en Geert ClaassensDe Roman van Lancelot in Middelnederlands proza Abstract -- The article offers an editio princeps of a recently found fragment of the only known Middle Dutch prose translation of the Old French Lancelot en prose. The fragment is identified as belonging to the same manuscript as the so-called ‘Rotterdamse fragmenten’ (and thus presenting the same translation). Furthermore it is argued that this mid-fourteenth-century manuscript may have been commissioned by the lords of Wezemaal (between Aarschot and Leuven), the place where the fragment was found in the archives of the local church.
