Het concept van de unreliable narrator en de figuur van de mise en abyme in 'De karamelaverkoper' (1992) van Tomas Lieske
Abstract -- This article offers an analysis of 'De karamelaverkoper', a short story by Tomas Lieske, published in the compilation Oorlogstuinen (1992). It is shown that Lieske by making use of the concept of the 'unreliable narrator' and the figure of the 'mis en abyme' doesn't allow his readers to come to a coherent interpretation of the text.
