Over de interpretatie van gedichten en de rol van de commentator
Abstract -- This paper presents a refutation of the position held by Fabian Stolk (in a paper in tntl 122, 1), who claims that as an editor of Jacques Perk's Gedichten (1882) he does not have to take into account any references the earlier publication of ten of the poems in Eene helle- en hemelvaart (1881) may have. Special attention will be given to the title of the poem 'Sanctissima virgo'. It will be demonstrated that it is unlikely to refer to the Virgin Mary, while there are good reasons to assume it refers to the Cumaean Sibyl.
