Het populaire lied in de achttiende eeuw. Een verkenning in Thirsis Minnewit
Abstract -- The author presents Thirsis Minnewit, an at the time an extremely popular collection of songs of the early eighteenth century. He argues that there may have been more continuity between post medieval popular song and popular song of the late middle ages than might be expected. Seventeenth and eighteenth century song collections are important windows on post medieval popular culture. They deserve more attention than they have been allowed.
